In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn two classic mizuhiki knots: the Awaji knot and the Plum blossom knot, and make decorative charms. Then, fold origami paper into a stylish holder and attach your handmade charm for a delightful and personalized touch.

Seasonal wreath (Shimenawa)

Design a festive wreath for the holiday season!
You’ll learn two classic mizuhiki knots: the Awaji knot and the Plum blossom knot, then decorate a traditional shimenawa wreath using your handmade mizuhiki charms. Add seasonal flair with ribbons, fresh or dried flowers, and other embellishments to create your own elegant decoration—perfect for New Year’s or as a one-of-a-kind gift.

All the necessities for crafting classes will be provided, please bring your own non-alcoholic drink.

No at the studio. Please use nearby coin parking.

We offer Japanese Matcha or Japanese green tea and a sweet. Please tell us when booking if you have any food allergies or food restrictions. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Yes, but please be respectful to other participants when taking photos and videos during a lesson.

100% charge for cancellations within 48 hours of the lesson time. In case of unavoidable circumstances result in cancellation by the organizer, we will provide a full refund.
